ERACISM MUSIC FEST 2013 Volunteer Opportunities
Eracism Merchandise Sales Associates – Seeking volunteers to aid in the supervision and sale of T-shirts, caps, glow sticks, bracelets, LED lights, silicone wrist bands, etc. Individuals will be responsible for overseeing cash register, accepting credit/debit card payments, cash payments, verifying Identification on cards, while providing excellent customer service. Some tasks require lifting.
Personnel Seating – Seeking volunteers to assist the artists and guests with seating arrangements. This committee does have both seated and standing volunteer assignments. Individuals will be responsible for providing drinks and help serve food to artists. Some tasks require lifting.
Food/Beverage Center – Assist in the allocation, set up and sale of food and drinks. Individuals will be responsible for overseeing cash register, accepting credit/debit card payments, cash payments, verifying Identification on cards, while providing excellent customer service. Some tasks require lifting.
Central Inventory – Assist in the allocation of all site supplies. Every committee that needs something comes to Central Inventory. Responsibilities include both indoor and outdoor duties. Some tasks require lifting.
Information/ Ticket Center –Seeking outgoing Individuals with great customer service oriented skills to greet patrons, provide information and assist with the Information Center and address any concerns/complaints, announcements. Responsible individuals are needed to manage on site ticket sales to patrons.
Transportation Center – If you are 25 years old or older, hold a valid driver’s license, and are interested in helping with our transportation on site, please include your driver’s license # on the volunteer application form. Help is needed to direct patrons, traffic and handicap access. Some tasks require lifting.
Volunteer Center – Assistance is needed in the processing of all event volunteers. Help is needed in distributing volunteer benefits (food and beverages, t-shirts, bracelets, etc.) and in directing volunteers to their assignments.
Youth Center – Do you enjoy working with children (experience preferred)? Assist children of all ages in a variety of arts, crafts, fun and games.
Security – This position requires stern individuals with great communication and customer service skills. Experience in Event Security, Security Guard, Retired/ Active Police or Military background preferred. This position also requires physical abilities such as being able to stand and walk for a long duration as well as being able to assist law enforcement before and after festival hours.
